Even after my return from Guinea Bissau, I continue to flash my back to the former Portuguese colony, the people I met, dozens of houses I saw, and above all the impressive forest cover that greets you as you drive along the tar road.
For me, the trip to Bissau, just like the assignment in Sierra Leone in April brought me closer to the purpose of the visit. A delegation comprising seventy people among them lecturers and students left Banjul last Sunday to conduct research on the history of the greater senegambia region. Am compiling that report for the news on GRTS.
